Who We Serve

Local and State Government Partners

At Community Medical Services (CMS), we recognize that creating lasting change requires deep collaboration with the public institutions that shape the health and wellbeing of our communities. That’s why we cultivate strong, respectful relationships with local and state government agencies to ensure our clinics are seen as trusted providers and essential partners in public health.

How We Serve Your Organization

Providing Pathways to Recovery

Our work with government agencies is rooted in a shared commitment: to meet the urgent needs of vulnerable populations and provide pathways to recovery, stability, and wellness. By aligning with municipal systems, we can better respond to complex challenges and coordinate care that truly supports the whole person. Whether we’re coordinating care plans, co-hosting outreach events, or advising on policy initiatives, our Community Impact and clinic teams are always focused on building mutual trust and long-term collaboration.

Who We Work With

When our clinics are integrated into the fabric of public systems, everyone benefits—from the individual seeking treatment to the neighborhoods they call home. We regularly partner with public health departments, Chambers of Commerce, Veterans Affairs offices, Divisions of Child and Family Services, law enforcement, and policymakers. These partnerships allow us to share resources, eliminate silos, and work collectively to build stronger, healthier communities.

Our Partnerships in Action

In 2023, CMS partnered with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health to expand access to MOUD in high-need zip codes. By integrating services through a shared outreach initiative and cross-training staff, the partnership reached over 1,200 individuals in its first six months, including many who had never accessed care before. Together, we made real progress in breaking down stigma and barriers to recovery.
