Healthcare Providers
At Community Medical Services (CMS), we know that substance use disorder (SUD) rarely exists in isolation. Our patients often face a range of complex physical, mental, and behavioral health challenges that may go unaddressed for years. That’s why we use a whole-person, interconnected model of care built on strong, respectful partnerships with other healthcare providers.

How We Serve Your Organization
Accepting Referrals & Referring Back to the Community
Beyond our medication-assisted treatment, our responsibility extends to helping every individual access the full spectrum of care they deserve. That’s why we maintain strong referral relationships with primary care practices, mental and behavioral health providers, inpatient and outpatient SUD treatment programs, OBGYN clinics, and more.
Our goal is to ensure every patient receives comprehensive, continuous care regardless of where they enter the healthcare system. When our services work alongside yours, we treat the whole person, not just their diagnosis.
Referring Patients to CMS
We welcome referrals from a wide range of partners, including primary care providers, emergency departments, mental health clinicians, and social services agencies. We also work alongside harm reduction programs and justice system diversion programs to ensure everyone has access to holistic treatment.
Want to Refer Your Patient?
Available Treatment for Referrals
Our clinics offer medication-assisted treatment, integrated behavioral health support, and peer support specialists. We accept patients on a walk-in basis for same-day treatment, fostering low-barrier care for long-term engagement. By referring patients to CMS, partners ensure timely, judgement-free access to lifesaving treatment.
